On October 14th, the ‘Innovation is Everywhere’ Hong Kong Enterprise Innovation Project Prize Award Ceremony and Hong Kong Enterprise Innovation Communication Event was successfully held in Shanghai.  The event was jointly organized by Hong Kong Trade Development Council and Hong Kong Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai and intended to encourage Hong Kong enterprises in various industries to think out of the box and actively explore innovation.

Vice Chairman of the CPPCC National Committee LEUNG Chun Ying and Vice Chairman of Shanghai Municipal Committee of the CPPCC SHAO Zhi Qing attended the award ceremony. 

Mr. Leung pointed out that Hong Kong enterprises have vast innovation opportunities in Shanghai and build strong connections with Shanghai through various routes of innovation and leverage their respective advantages of both Hong Kong and Shanghai to contribute to the development of the country. 

He emphasized that "as long as everyone has innovative thinking, methods, and determination, they can definitely provide new impetus for social and economic development.

The Founder, Chairman and CEO of Arctic Vison, Dr. Eddy Wu was invited to the award ceremony. 

The iTEAR® Tear Neurostimulation Device which is latest launched by the company won the Excellent Product Innovation Award of the  year, demonstrating the outstanding innovation capability and technological breakthroughs of Arctic Vision.

This selection event attracted over 60 teams to apply.

In the end, 15 outstanding innovative projects entered the final round. The winning projects covered five sectors: product innovation, service innovation, business management model innovation, technological innovation, and electronic innovation, fully demonstrating the innovative spirit of Hong Kong enterprises.
